Artist Statement:

I am fascinated by dream worlds inhabited by my own creatures. Aliens that explain a sense of gender frustration in ways words can not, flamingos sent with spiked bats to fight battles with the blunt force I wish I had the strength and lack of consequence to fight my own battles with. Everything tends to have a deeper sadness that is initially masked by cute quirky creatures and bright colors. I am as equally drawn to the wrinkles and flabs of flesh I draw, as much as the mental crisis felt by these anthropomorphic forms. Bodies, queerness, the occult, and that persistent nagging existential crisis that never really leaves, that is what inspires me and drives me to create. I am an alien witch born of moss and glitter, filled with anxiety, and on a never ending pursuit to explain the way I see the world.
